We are a CPA Firm, helping small & medium-sized businesses and individuals. We are not a bookkeeping firm. Your days will vary, much like the projects you work on. This is a full-time position where you will assist in managing work with existing clients. You will not be managing your own client base, although future opportunity may arise. You will be expected to: * Prepare individual, business and not-for-profit tax returns * Prepare financial statement compilation and reviews * Assist with year-end and general tax and business planning * Prepare annual payroll, sales and excise tax filings * Perform other consulting, accounting, tax and admin functions as needed. You will work with: * Thomson-Reuters suite of tax, accounting and admin software * Microsoft Office suite * Adobe Acrobat Professional * Multiple versions of QuickBooks. * A paperless environment with multiple monitors, (meaning that almost 100% of our work is done on screen rather than on paper) Communication skills are essential to our success.
